March & Dr. Seuss
March has decided to “come in like a lion.” We’ve had some snow, not as much as usual, but enough to make travel unpleasant.
A reminder that March is Dr. Seuss month. Today, March 2, would have been Dr. Seuss’s 105th birthday. Why not celebrate with one of Dr. Seuss’s books? I recommend The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, or any one of the many other enjoyable books written by this incredible man. Another way to celebrate would be to visit Seussville at www.seussville.com and enjoy some interactive fun!
I would also encourage you to check out our featured authors on The Reading Lady website. Every one of our authors is talented and enjoys sharing stories with our young readers. So start out the month of March with a good book by any one of our author friends–and don’t forget Dr. Seuss. A great way to begin learning to read.
As I always say at the end of one my episodes, goodbye and good reading!
P. S. I would love to hear your comments.
